Using Alfred

These terms govern your use of Alfred's website and personal-assistant service. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using it; you can still request deletion of your data. You must be at least 18 and authorized to use the accounts and information you connect or share.

Alfred uses AI to help with everyday requests. Protect your devices and account access, give accurate instructions, and tell us if you suspect someone else is using your account.

Permission is specific

Connecting an account permits the access described in its consent flow. It does not authorize every possible action. Alfred may make private, reversible changes within the permissions you give. Actions that send or notify another person, book, buy, or pay require your explicit approval for that action.

These terms do not authorize Alfred to reset passwords, broaden account permissions, accept unrelated agreements, or spend money merely because doing so could help finish a request. You can withdraw connection permissions. Withdrawing permission cannot undo a completed action.

Your content stays yours

You retain your rights in the content you provide. You give us only the permission needed to process it and use service providers to deliver and secure Alfred for you. That permission is limited by your instructions and our Privacy Policy; it is not a perpetual or irrevocable license to exploit your content.

We do not train or fine-tune AI models on your private data. We do not sell it. You can request account and personal-data deletion at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy. Where we hold rights in an answer created for you, we permit you to use it; AI output may not be unique or eligible for copyright.

Check consequential information

AI can misunderstand, miss context, or give an incorrect answer. Connected information may be incomplete or out of date. Check important details before relying on them, particularly financial, medical, legal, or safety-related information. Alfred is not an emergency service or a substitute for a qualified professional.

An attempted action is not a completed action. Review confirmations and tell us about an error so it can be investigated.

Other services and charges

Banks, email providers, merchants, and other connected services have their own terms. Their prices, availability, cancellation rules, and privacy practices apply to your use of those services. Approving a purchase does not guarantee that the merchant will accept it.

Any Alfred subscription price and renewal or cancellation conditions must be presented before you agree to pay. These terms alone do not authorize a charge. Your carrier's message and data charges may apply.

Use the service responsibly

Do not use Alfred for fraud, harassment, unlawful activity, unauthorized access, or sharing information you have no right to share. Do not bypass security controls or interfere with someone else's account. We may restrict access to address misuse, security risks, or legal requirements.

Availability and responsibility

Alfred may change, experience outages, or be discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee that every answer or task will be correct or uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

We do not use these terms to treat unapproved actions as approved. Ending access does not remove your ability to request deletion of your data.

Contact and updates

For privacy questions, a copy or correction of your data, or account deletion, contact us through your existing Alfred conversation. Say clearly that you are requesting help from the operator. The operator personally monitors these requests; review and handling are manual, not an automated escalation or deletion service. We may need to verify your identity before sharing or deleting account data.

We will date changes here and notify you of material changes through the service. A change to these terms does not retroactively expand permission to use your private data.
