Privacy Policy

Last updated September 5, 2026

Your life is private. It should stay that way.

We do not train AI models on your private data. We do not sell it. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time.

What Alfred uses

Alfred uses the messages, files, photos, voice inputs, and other information you provide to help with your requests. With your permission, Alfred can also use connected accounts, saved preferences, and location. Connected services may be read in the background for the assistance and follow-ups you enable.

We keep account and connection details, conversation history, saved memories, and records needed to run the service, understand failures, and establish what actions actually happened. Visiting the website can also generate basic technical information, such as your IP address and request details. Sign-in uses essential cookies.

Your data is not training material

We do not use your private messages, connected-account content, files, or other personal data to train or fine-tune AI models, or contribute that data to shared training datasets. You do not need to opt out. Remembering something to help you is different from training a model for other people.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, use it for targeted advertising, or grant ourselves a perpetual right to reuse it.

Who processes it

Alfred uses service providers for AI processing, messaging, hosting, storage, and the services you connect. Relevant information is sent to them to provide the assistance you request or enable. OpenAI processes information supplied to Alfred's AI; its API does not use that information for model training by default. Processing can still involve provider security logs and retention.

People operating Alfred may access information when needed to support you, investigate a failure or security issue, or meet a legal obligation. This is not a service where nobody can ever access your information.

Connected services and messaging providers also have their own privacy practices, including retention and international processing. Read their consent screens and policies. We cannot erase their independently held records or messages already delivered to another person. Private connected-account content is not available to Alfred in group conversations; messages you send to a group are visible to its participants.

Disconnect, forget, or delete

Disconnect a service to stop Alfred's access through that connection. Disconnecting does not by itself delete earlier conversations, memories, files, or completed-action records. You can request deletion of those copies too. A retained copy does not give us a new purpose or permission to train on it.

Forget a fact to stop Alfred using that saved memory. Forgetting a memory is not the same as erasing the original conversation or closing your account.

Delete your account and personal data by requesting account deletion in your Alfred conversation. Account deletion is handled by the operator after verification; sending a message is a request, not proof that deletion has finished. The request covers conversations, saved memories, connection credentials, files, and other personal data held for your account in our active systems.

We will explain the scope and confirm what has been deleted. Backup copies and records that must be retained for a specific legal or security obligation may take longer. We will identify any remaining category, why it remains, and its applicable retention period rather than promise instant erasure everywhere. Deletion does not delete your original email, bank account, or other source account.

Security and your choices

We use encrypted connections, encrypted storage for connected-account credentials, and access controls that separate people's accounts. No online service is risk-free. Share only what you want Alfred to handle, protect your devices, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Alfred is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and arrange deletion.

Questions and changes

For privacy questions, a copy or correction of your data, or account deletion, contact us through your existing Alfred conversation. Say clearly that you are requesting help from the operator. The operator personally monitors these requests; review and handling are manual, not an automated escalation or deletion service. We may need to verify your identity before sharing or deleting account data.

We will date updates here and notify you of material changes through the service. We will not quietly change this policy to permit training on private data already entrusted to us.
